1st Grade Friends

Dear Families,

Over the past few years, 1st graders have taken part of an amazing field trip to the AuSable Institute of Environmental Studies. The trip is an opportunity for 1st graders to participate in hands on learning and extends what we have been learning in the classroom already.

In the past, funds have been set aside so that there is no cost to families for this trip. We are not that fortunate this year. Due to budget constraints, the district is unable to help fund the trip this year. In light of this, we are asking families to assist us in making this trip a possibility for our 1st graders. The cost is $10 per student. Families will have the opportunity to  pay all at once or use a “payment plan” if needed.

We  wholeheartedly believe that this fieldtrip will impact students’ immediate and future learning!
