1st Grade Friends

We have been reading and celebrating the author Dr. Seuss this month as well as participating in the school’s Michigan Animals reading month festivities! We will be having a few fun days to cap off the celebration next week.

Monday 5/24 - Wear a  Michigan shirt (it can be a college shirt, or one for a town in Michigan,) Let’s show our MI pride. :-)

Tuesday 5/25- Character Creation (we will be sharing the Seussy characters that we create at home with our family)

Wednesday 5/26 – Dress up as your favorite book character!! In the past I have had anything from Fancy Nancy to the Lorax to Curious George show up to school. :-)

Thursday 5/27 — Bring a reading buddy (bring your favorite stuffed animal to read to)
